Bloom into May: New Artist Showcase at On The Square Emporium 🌿
On The Square Emporium is delighted to invite you to the launch of our brand-new exhibition this spring. On Saturday, May 2nd, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, our upstairs gallery space will transform into a vibrant showcase featuring five exceptional local artists.
While the new exhibition takes center stage upstairs, the rest of the Emporium remains open for you to roam. Visitors can enjoy a unique afternoon wandering through two floors of treasures—from the fresh work of our featured artists to the endless aisles of vintage and antique wonders that make the shop so special.
The Featured Artists (Upstairs Gallery):
Janice Lightowler – An award-winning painter renowned for her breathtaking oil works. Janice’s pieces are celebrated for their luminous quality and extraordinary attention to detail.
Ash Kerr – Specializing in handmade jewellery and accessories, Ash blends modern design with traditional artisan craft to create unique, wearable art.
Michelle Wilson – A master of realism, Michelle’s wildlife and animal portraiture captures the raw character and spirit of the natural world with incredible depth.
Judith Lunn – Contributing a collection of elegant, hand-crafted ceramics, Judith’s work focuses on sophisticated forms and beautiful, tactile finishes.
Justine Scoltock – Bringing a bold, contemporary energy to the gallery, Justine’s mixed-media works explore colour and texture through vibrant, layered storytelling.
