Blood nasty is an annual music event held Halloween weekend in Austin, Texas. Blood Nasty has set out to bring together some of the best local artists, performers, and vendors for your fixation. Founded in 2014, Blood Nasty began in a backyard in East Austin with nothing more than a passion for music and debauchery. Seven years later, the founders are ecstatic to say the festival grows bigger and stronger each October. Artists who have previously played this event include Pleasure Venom, Being Dead, The Boleys, DAYEATER, Modular Sun, and many more Austin favorites. Giving a spotlight to local artists and vendors has always been a top priority of the festival as well. Whether you sell clothes, jewelry, art, or even provide a service, Blood Nasty would love to have you. This year in 2021, the event will take place at The Far Out Lounge & Stage in South Austin, an outdoor venue with plenty of room for safe social distancing and open ventilation. The 2021 Lineup is the first to expand out of Austin city limits with New Orleans’ Spitfire and San Antonio’s Grupo Frackaso.
