Hollywood has created the idea that one should use large amounts of blood from the hand to bring about works of magic. This is very misleading, and you will learn why. This introductory class will explore the history of the use of blood in magic. From simple “blood brothers” to sacrifice to a spirit. We will discuss the health and safety practices in order to have good clean bloodletting. There will be opportunities to practice letting, should the student choose to do so.
