Blood Bash 2025

Blood Bash 2025 is the 8th iteration of MeggaXP's International Horror Film Festival & Convention! It is Jackson, Michigan's biggest day for horror, and YES, it's in February because there's not much else to do in Jackson in the winter time!

This year, Blood Bash 2025 will consist of 3 different events over 2 different dates, so pay attention to what day is what:
FRIDAY NIGHT - FEBRUARY 7TH: From 6:00pm - 11:00pm!
Friday is our film festivals BONUS NIGHT - where more than 20 semi-finalist films will be screened for your viewing pleasure! These movies beat out over 2,000 other films that were submitted this year, but didn't quite make the judge's approval to be moved into the finals. Friday will not only feature over 20 movies, but also an exclusive trivia game show where you will win BASH CASH to spend at the vendor hall on Saturday! Attending the Friday Night event is the ONLY way to make sure you catch EVERY MOVIE that Blood Bash 2025 has to offer! NOTE - FRIDAY NIGHT DOES NOT INCLUDE ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE FILM ROOM FOR THE SEMI-FINALISTS (no vendors, no game room, cosplay contest, etc.)

Oh, and the bar is open on Friday night too so you can partake in horror themed drink specials!

SATURDAY (DAY TIME) - FEBRUARY 8TH: From 10:00am - 6:00pm!

This is the bread and butter of the show, also known as the "main day" Saturday will feature all of the following things:
The 20 FINALIST movies that will compete for "Best In Show," "Favorite Male" and "Favorite Female" performance awards!
VENDOR ROOM - Over 60 vendors selling anything and everything horror related!
GAMING ROOM - New for 2025, we've moved all of our games to a bigger room and have really expanded the gaming options! We've added a BUNCH more Horror themed video games, board games, trivia games, and carnival games! ALL FREE TO PLAY and you play to win tickets to win massive prizes including items donated from our vendors as well as Bash Cash to spend in the vendor hall!

COSPLAY CONTEST - People compete for Men's and Women's cosplay championships! Winners recieve a swag bag as well as free passes to next year's show!

SCREAM QUEEN CONTEST (our favorite) - Men, women, and children alike can enter to give it their best shout! This contest gets crazy loud, and the winner will recieve a champion's package that includes a champion's badge to next year's show!

HALL OF HORRORS - New for 2025, this is literally a hallway to walk down and view all of the movies, cosplays, etc from previous Blood Bash events. Miss one of the winning films from 2022, for example? ALL award winners will be playing on loop all day, so feel free to stop in the hall and experience the BEST of the BASH!

ESCAPE ROOM - Think you can get out alive??? Well, we're hoping so, trust us! You and your friends can try your best to escape the yet to be named escape room, but it's going to be much harder than you think!
RAFFLES - You play the games to win tickets towards these raffles that will be happening throughout the day! Over $1,000 in prizes will be given away and the best part is that ALL OF THE GAMES ARE FREE TO PLAY!!!
ADULT DRINK SPECIALS - Get your drink on with classics like "Bruice Juice" and "Carrie Limeade," but there are always new drinks added to the rotation - - - what will your favorite drink be!
SATURDAY EVENING AFTER-HOURS EVENT (7:30 PM - 10:30 PM)

Blood Bash After Dark is back for 2025 - and this time we are bringing back the traditional after party! The Game Room will still be open for people to play games in BUT we are adding a LIVE CONCERT from "Tattered and Torn - Detroit's Slipknot Tribute Band" to the mix in addition to some after hours dance music, an after hours game show, as well a few other surprises! If loud noises and crowds aren't your thing, we will still have the film room open with much calmer activities to be had! More on this will be announced soon! STAY TUNED!
Ticket Pricing is as follows:

ADULT PRICES:
FRIDAY NIGHT (Film Festival Bonus Night) - $10
SATURDAY (MAIN SHOW) Pass (No After-Party) - $20
SATURDAY AFTER PARTY ONLY - $15 at the door, $10 in advance.

ALL WEEKEND BASH PASS (includes all 3 events) - $25 - - - THIS is the EARLY BIRD PRICE! After Halloween is over this ticket will go up to $30 for all 3 events. Still $25 cheaper than it would be to attend all 3 events individually!

KIDS PRICES:
Kids who are under 13 (obvious children) are able to come to any and all days for just $5. That's right, we are committed to keeping this event affordable for families, so kids can come experience everything for $5 no matter what day or how many events they want to come to!

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS:
There is also a student price of just $10 for the entire weekend, but you MUST HAVE YOUR STUDENT ID to get at this rate!

MILITARY DISCOUNT:
If you are active military or a veteran, simply show us your ID and you get to experience EVERYTHING Blood Bash has to offer FOR FREE. We can not thank you enough for your service!
