Title: Smarter compute, lower energy and lower API cost

Duration: 8:45 PM – 9:25 PM (60 minutes, running in parallel with the main stage)
Space: Large dedicated area within District 3.

About NetGreener & Saeed Khazaee:
NetGreener is a Montreal-based AI efficiency platform that helps developers measure and reduce the cost, energy, and carbon footprint of their AI workloads. Founded by Saeed Khazaee, a PhD in Computer Science from Concordia University, NetGreener provides real-time insights into GPU cost, cloud spend, and infrastructure efficiency, before and after deployment. It is a tool built for builders who want their AI to be not just powerful, but responsible.
Description: Build Smarter. Waste Less.
A 60-minute vibe-coding competition where developers use AI coding assistants and NetGreener to discover inefficiencies in a real AI application, optimize its performance, reduce resource consumption, and prove their improvements.
The challenge: Make the AI application more efficient without compromising its functionality.
Participants compete to achieve the best measurable improvements using NetGreener.
Evaluation Criteria:
- Innovation: 25%
- Efficiency: 40%
- Impact: 20%
- Presentation: 15%
Prizes:
- Winner: One (1) year of free access to NetGreener.
- All participants: Two (2) months of free access to NetGreener.
Christmas Party & Gifts

The evening closes with a festive celebration: DJ, buffet, drinks, gifts, and a raffle.

Calme Laboratoires is a Quebec-based company founded by Montreal entrepreneur Frederic Dumouchel, specializing in natural skincare products designed for active men and athletes.
