This workshop will be held at The Hub on the Heath, 10 Adastral Square, Canford Heath BH17 8SA. Prices is £20-28.
In this workshop we will go through all the basic techniques you need to know to enable you to print onto fabric and paper using Indian Printing Blocks. We will also go through ideas for using block printing etc.
There will be a selection of blocks and paint to use – first we will practise on some scrap fabric, practising the technique and design and then printing on to the blank of your choice (from dropdown menu at time of booking).
Choices are tote bag, teatowel, scarf, cushion cover, 2 x pouches (medium and large), apron with pocket.
A hot drink is included in the price of the workshop – additional drinks etc can be purchased.
I have a selection of blocks to use, various seed heads and flowers, beach hut, camper vans, bunting, stars, unicorn, butterfly, bicycle, bees and birds and an alphabet set.
Please note – we will be using fabric paints – they don’t come out of clothing, so please don’t wear your Sunday best! Feel free to bring an apron!
