Block Printing Intro

Come along to a 2-hour printmaking workshop.
Saturday 20 June 10:30 - 12:30
You’ll be supported to create your own unique design, transfer it onto the block, carve it safely and print multiple copies onto different specialty papers.
You'll leave with a heap of art prints and your very own block stamp so you can keep creating.
We'll discuss various materials and techniques, and experiment with multicoloured prints.
It's an easy-going, calm setting, with soft music and natural light. There will be time for chats, breaks and focus.
This workshop is for beginner and experienced printmakers alike.
About the Facilitator:
I'm Lucian (they/them) a kind-punk printmaker who stumbled across printmaking many moons ago, however was discouraged by teachers due to resisting the 'print 100 perfect editions' process. I've recently fallen back in love with this artform, and approach it in a fun, accessible and 'no rules' kind of way. Art is for everyone!
Beginners welcome.
This is an adults art class.
Children 16 years+ or support workers are welcome to attend with a ticket holder, and must also purchase a ticket.
