The Block Kids Building Program challenges students from 1st to 6th grade to use their imagination in constructing a structure or project using interlocking blocks. By introducing children to construction industry careers at an early age, we are hoping to create awareness and develop their interest in future careers in the industry.This award-winning national competition is sponsored by the NAWIC Education Foundation and run by local NAWIC chapters nationwide. Local winners advance to regional competition, and one semi-finalist from each region is entered in the National program competition. National prizes are awarded to the top three projects.
Students and their parents will have the opportunity to get information about many of the local trades. Fun interactive activities are planned.
MASKS are mandatory.
