About this Event

Multiple myeloma (MM) is a rare blood cancer that disproportionately affects Black people and can be overlooked or diagnosed later because of barriers in the healthcare system. While there is no cure, treatment has advanced significantly, and there are more options available today.

We want Black communities to have access to the information, care, and opportunities they deserve, including clinical trials. Join us for brunch and a welcoming conversation about multiple myeloma, what clinical trials can look like, and how we can make cancer research more accessible and inclusive for Black patients.

Guests will hear from people with lived and professional experience, take part in an interactive discussion, enjoy brunch, have the opportunity to take family photos, and tour the museum - all for free!
