BLK Girl Fest: Unapologetically Her

BLK Girl Fest is an intentional celebration of Black women, our creativity, our healing, our brilliance and our community. Rooted in empowerment and connection, this festival was created as a space where Black women can show up fully, freely and unapologetically. This is more than an event. It’s an experience.

BLK Girl Fest exists to amplify Black voices and lived experiences. Support and spotlight Black-owned businesses. Create access to culturally affirming wellness experiences. Foster meaningful dialogue through intentional panel conversations. Build authentic community rooted in joy, healing and collective growth

We believe in a space where rest is normalized, creativity is celebrated, and economic empowerment is intentional.

Info: Doors open and the vibes are set. Guests arrive, check in, and begin shopping Black-owned businesses while enjoying music by DJ SDot. This is intentional time to explore, connect, and support our vendors.

Info: Brief welcome remarks to ground the space, share the vision, and set intentions for the day.

Info: Indulge in a healthy meal with refreshments.

Info: A joyful, high-energy line dance session to get bodies moving, spirits lifted and community connected.

Info: Two featured performers take the stage (poets/singers/rappers), celebrating creativity, storytelling and expression.

Info: Guests may rotate through: Yoga & Sound Bath (These offerings will be available two times throughout the festival so attendees can experience them without missing other moments.)

Info: An intentional panel discussion centered on empowerment, healing, self-expression and lived experience, guided by moderator, Lea Hortman.

Info: Two additional performers take the stage to continue the creative flow and energy.

Info: Guests may rotate through: Yoga & Sound Bath (These offerings will be available two times throughout the festival so attendees can experience them without missing other moments.)

Info: Guests return to vendor shopping, connect, and wind down. Closing remarks followed by DJ SDot bringing the energy to a joyful close.
