On Saturday, May 11th, Green Country Habitat for Humanity will host the 3rd annual Clark Howard Blitz Build. This unique event teams local organizations with consumer advocate and radio host Clark Howard to raise the walls on six new homes simultaneously in a day.Six local organizations are joining Clark Howard to sponsor this year’s builds; Ameristar, First Presbyterian Church, Harvard Avenue Christian Church, ONE Gas, ONEOK, and the all-volunteer Tuesday Morning Miracle Workers. In addition to providing financial support, teams from each organization will be on-site working under the close supervision of trained GCHFH construction staff.
Before the wall raising begins, GCHFH will host a media opportunity with remarks from Howard, community leaders, and participating sponsors.
