Join us for a sacred celebration honoring Babalú-Ayé, also known as St. Lazarus, a revered figure associated with healing, protection, and health. This meaningful event invites you to connect with ancient traditions, seek blessings, and set intentions for health and well-being in the year ahead.
In Santería, Babalú-Ayé is among the most popular orishas. Syncretized with Saint Lazarus, and regarded as particularly miraculous, Babalú-Ayé is publicly honored with a pilgrimage on December 17, when tens of thousands of devotees gather at the Church and Leprosorium of Saint Lazarus in El Rincón, in the outskirts of Santiago de las Vegas, Havana. Arará communities in Cuba and its diaspora honor the spirit as Asojano. Babalú-Aye is the spirit of the Earth and strongly associated with infectious disease, and healing.
What to Expect:
Ritual and Offerings: Participate in a heartfelt ceremony invoking Babalu Aye’s blessings for healing and protection.
Symbolic Practices: Learn about the rich cultural and spiritual significance of Babalu Aye and engage in traditional offerings and prayers.
Community Connection: Share this transformative experience with like-minded individuals in a sacred, welcoming space.
This event is a unique opportunity to align with the energies of health, renewal, and gratitude while honoring an enduring spiritual tradition. Reserve your spot today and step into the new year with a heart full of hope and health. 🌿✨
**Spiritual practices do not replace the care of a physician. While the universe can work in mysterious ways, we do not claim that participation in ceremony will diagnose, treat, or cure any condition.**
