Traditional gathering at the Nativity (the NW corner of Lehnertz and Ohio) on the first night of the Lehnertz Ave display. Father Godwin Asquo from St. Joseph's parish will bless the manger for the 2024 season and say a few words. This is the official opening of the Christmas Street. All are welcome to attend.
•The blessing is brief, typically 20 min.
•Limited standing room only.
•PARKING: there is NO PARKING on lehnertz Ave for non residents.
ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING FOR ANYONE on the north side of Lehnertz Ave. from MICHELS - OHIO.
Parking may be found in the Garfield park parking lot (enter off of Sheridan), fire dept. lot(enter off of michels), or surrounding side streets where allowed.
