Blessing of the Backpacks

Backpacks symbolize the burdens students carry on their hearts—heavy, invisible loads of academic and social pressures.The new school year is approaching, and members of the congregation have written special notes of encouragement to supply students with love, faith, kindness, and confidence for the year ahead. Pastor Sunshine will also pray over the students and their backpacks. We invite all to attend - whether you are going to preschool or returning to college!
We will also be giving away school supplies during the worship service!
