You may be wondering what is the purpose of blessing animals? The service celebrates the human-animal bond of all God's creatures. As part of our blessing celebration we are collecting donations for the Jacksonville Humane Society. If you don't have a pet or can't make the blessing service, you can still be a hero by dropping off a donation of pet food, kitty litter, or treats to the narthex or church office.
