About this Event
Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that teaches you how to help someone who is developing a mental health challenge or experiencing a mental health crisis. Participants will learn how to identify, understand, and respond to signs and symptoms of mental illness. This course gives tools to help friends, family members, colleagues, and others in the community. Participants who complete the course are certified in Mental Health First Aid for 3 years.
The Blended Format requires the use of an online Learning Management System, in which participants will complete 2 hours of a self-paced introductory module to be completed prior to the 6-hour VIRTUAL session. Participants must complete the self-paced module to participate in the Instructor Led Session.
