This blended Level 3 Paediatric First Aid course is a must for all those that work with or care for infants and children.
This qualification is recognised by OFSTED.
Candidates who sign up for the course, will be registered and will have to do a 6 hour online session.
Then candidates will spend a day with MJD Training learning the practical elements of the qualification.
This includes
Scene survey.
CPR infant and Child including Defib
Recovery position for a child/infant
Choking child/infant.
Wounds and bleeding
Treatment for shock.
Fractures
Head and spinal injuries
Dealing with anaphylaxis.
On the day there are practical assessments to complete, and a written multiple-choice question paper.
The qualification is valid for 3 years.
Cost for the course is £110.00 per person
Refreshments will be provided on the day. Candidates will have to provide their own lunch.
