Create your own textured blends on the drum carder and explore the many ways to spin a batt with artist Emily Wohlscheid! Batts are a delightful but often intimidating preparation to spin, especially when texture is involved. Students will create and sample a variety of textures with suggestions for how to prepare for spinning, experimenting with gauge at all levels of texture, and an introduction to core spinning.
