Bleeding Control Workshop

All mobility levels encouraged to attend. Our teachers from Untitled Medical Collective are gearing this workshop towards seniors with a focus on working with buddies, keeping bystanders calm, and how to communicate and recruit assistance. Techniques will also include how to apply adequate pretty despite limited mobility or strength/stamina.
ALL AGES, masks required (will be provided), no RSVP needed.

A community-led effort to train people on how to use tourniquets and effective management of massive hemorrhaging. You don’t want to find out you don’t know how to do this when you are faced with needing to do this—and in this country, the likelihood of that event is increasing every day.
We’ll go over tourniquet application, direct pressure, treating massive hemorrhaging and shock management. We will also go over some hands-on practice with tourniquets!
This class does not provide any official certification and is instead a skill-share to provide as many people as possible with the essential knowledge on bleeding control.
