BLC 2026 - A Learning & Networking Event for Non-Profit Leaders

Board Leadership Calgary is excited to announce we are back to hosting our in-person one-day learning event for non-profit leaders in the community.

This years event will provide a broad overview of topics and learning opportunities to support you and your learning journey. There will be a mixture of workshops, supported discussions, networking opportunities and expertise from professionals in the sector.

• Board governance basics: Liability and legal fundamentals, governance structures, strategic planning, board and staff relationships
• Funding & fundraising
• Volunteerism - recruitment and engagement
• Leadership and problem-solving
• Innovation: Social innovation tools, digital transformation and AI
• Non-profit marketing and social media

We are confirming speakers and workshop time. After you register, expect an e-mail to sign up for workshops when we finalize the schedule for the day.

Prices include lunch and refreshments.

There may be bursaries available for organization's that may requrie financial support. Please inquire for details.
