En stedsrelateret performanceinstallation skrevet til Campanula Quinton, mikrotonalt præpareret klaver, continuo-orgel og en interaktiv multikanalinstallation.
Installationen består af genbrugte canadiske og skandinaviske træsorter. Førstnævnte kommer fra en skov nær Matts mors hjem på Canadas vestkyst. Det kasserede træ har fået nyt liv. Med omhyggelig formgivning af træet og fastgørelse af transducere til træet er hvert "træ" i stand til at fortælle en historie gennem sin egen resonans og materialitet. Træstykkerne fungerer som elektroakustiske resonatorer, hvor komponerede og improviserede lyde kan passere igennem.
I forbindelse med bestillingsværket "Woodland Ruins" vil duoen lede en sang- og lydvandring i træinstallationen. Ved at synge og bevæge sig kan det kollektive kor af publikum udforske tal-dimensionen 7 i forhold til den harmoniske serie. Hvordan lyder dette tal?

Isak Schiødt - saxofon
Isak Schiødt har spillet saxofon siden han var helt lille. Først spillede han diverse simple melodier, siden Shrek Soundtrack og Abba Greatest Hits nodebøgerne, derefter flere år med marcher i Tivoli Garden, jazzmusik på efterskole og de seneste år i alverdens bands indenfor primært jazz og pop/rock såsom Dubbeltrion, Uden Ord, Kingtommi og i Nausia. Han kendes nok bedst for det både støjende og smukke jazz/rock band Nausia. Denne aften vil han forsøge at tage alle disse års saxofonspilleri med sig på scenen, og på trods af at hans står alene på scenen vil alle hans musikalske venner og tidligere musikalske gøren skinne igennem.
Denne aften vil Isaks udtryk spænde fra udforskning af instrumentets klangfarver til
eksplosive udbrud. Musikken vil være tage udgangspunkt i det ambiente og
minimalistiske repetitive, hvor motiver i musikken vil udvikle sig langsomt, men samtidig tester Isaks fysiske evner hvad angår vejrtrækning og finger motorik. Isak Schiødt ser frem til at gøre sit ypperste forsøg på at blæse PRiMi omkuld.

Blaume består af de to kunstnere Laura Zöschg (IT) og Mette Hommel (DK), begge baseret i København. De arbejder med stemmen, tværfløjte og elektroniske udvidelser i frie improvisationer. De to kvinder er mødtes i musikken, og ud fra disse møder er et fint venskab blomstret op. Trygheden og nysgerrigheden mellem de to afspejles i deres lyd, som åbent eksperimenterer med nye måder at være i musikken på. De udgav i januar deres debut-EP excess air.

Matt Choboter - Piano, zither, installation
A site-related performance installation written for Campanula Quinton, microtonal prepared piano, continuo organ and an interactive multi-channel installation.
The installation consists of recycled Canadian and Scandinavian woods. The former coming from a forest near Matt’s mother’s home on the west coast of Canada. The discarded wood has been given new life. With careful sculpting of the wood and attaching transducers to the wood, each “tree” is able to tell a story through their own resonances and materiality. The pieces of wood act as electro-acoustic resonators whereby composed and improvised sounds can pass through.
In connection to the commissioned piece, “woodland Ruins”, the Duo will lead a singing and sound walk of the wood installation. Singing and moving, the collective choir of audience can explore the number-dimension 7 in relation to the harmonic series. What does this number sound like?

Isak Schiødt - saxophone
Isak Schiødt has played the saxophone since he was very young. First he played various simple melodies, then the Shrek Soundtrack and Abba Greatest Hits sheet music, then several years of marching in Tivoli Garden, jazz music at boarding school and in recent years in all kinds of bands, primarily jazz and pop/rock bands such as Dubbeltrion, Uden Ord, Kingtommi and in Nausia. He is probably best known for the noisy and beautiful jazz/rock band Nausia. Tonight he will try to bring all those years of saxophone playing to the stage, and despite being alone on stage, all his musical friends and past musical endeavors will shine through.
This evening, Isaac's expressions will range from exploring the instrument's timbres to
explosive outbursts. The music will be based on the ambient and minimalist repetitive, where motifs in the music will develop slowly, but at the same time test Isak's physical abilities in terms of breathing and finger motor skills. Isak Schiødt is looking forward to doing his best to blow PRiMi out of the water.

Laura Zöschg - Voice, flute, electronics
Mette Hommel - Voice, flute, electronics
Blaume is a duo consisting of Laura Zöschg (IT) and Mette Hommel (DK), both based in Copenhagen. They work with the flute, the voice and different electronic enhancements, and move in the realm of improvised and experimental music. The two women met in Aarhus, Denmark, where they first started playing together, and from their meetings, a beautiful friendship blossomed. The safety and curiosity are mirrored in the music they play, opening a space full of surprises, fine details, big soundscapes, and committing exploration. They released their debut EP excess air in January.
