Blast from the Past: Let's Make a Potholder!In Store Class

Years ago my grandmother bought me a potholder loom and loops at our local Ben Franklin store. I'm sure many of you had one too. I loved making the potholders and choosing the colors! We used those potholders until they fell apart at our house.
A few months ago, my friend Judy gave me a new potholder loom and loops and I've had so much fun making them again! I've found great FREE patterns to make beautiful designs in the potholders and better quality loops to make the potholders more heat resistant. Let's have a Blast From the Past and make some potholders!
We will make 2 potholders in the class. We will learn to place the loops to create patterns and weave the loops together to make beautiful cotton potholders. Then we will learn to crochet the potholder off the loom and add a wooden ring to hang it up! You will need to bring a small pair of scissors for trimming and everything else is included with your kit. Cost for this class is $40 which includes the class fee, the potholder loom with cotton loops, weaving tool, crochet hook, patterns, wood rings, and cotton loops for our class projects.
