Know a teen ready to start babysitting this summer? Safe Kids Johnson County is hosting a BLAST (Babysitting Lessons and Safety Training) class on Saturday, August 1, for youth ages 11–14 from 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at our Olathe office location (11875 S. Sunset Dr., Olathe, KS 66061).
This fun, hands-on class teaches participants how to:
✔️ Care for infants and young children
✔️ Handle emergencies, including basic first aid & bleeding control
✔️ Practice safe sleep
✔️ Understand child development
✔️ Keep kids safe and engaged
