Blake Shelton's career in country music began when he moved to Nashville at the age of 17, and through hard work performing at local venues, the effort paid off when his first official single, 2001’s “Austin,” became a No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. Over the years, the Oklahoma native went on to log many more chart-topping tracks, including the multi-Platinum singles “Honey Bee” and “God Gave Me You.” Fans also have grown to adore Shelton’s fun-loving personality--especially from his coaching role on the reality TV competition “The Voice.” Blake Shelton helped country music fans get through the pandemic with some entertainment on the big screen, as he performed in the summer of 2020 as part of the drive-in concert series. In Summer 2021, Blake hit the road appearing at events such as the Iowa State Fair and Cheyenne Frontier Days, alongside country legends such as Garth Brooks. He then resumed his Friends and Heroes tour--which was interrupted because of the pandemic--with new tour dates in autumn of 2021. Now, the Ada, Okla. native, who wed pop star Gwen Stefani in July 2021, is embarking on a new concert tour he's calling the Back to the Honky Tonk tour in 2024.
