Blair W. Schaffer is an entrepreneur and aspiring politician that is passionate about Amarillo and his community.

Blair is the President and CEO of Schaffer Texas Enterprises and JCO Creation Incorporated that include several businesses in Amarillo and Carson County focused on farming, nutrition, fitness and travel and tourism.

Born and raised in Amarillo, Blair attended schools at Hamlet, Horace Mann and Palo Duro High School. Immediately upon graduation Blair joined the United States Navy and dutifully completed his assignment as a Cryptological technician. Blair began his career as an entrepreneur as early as age 10. Blair has had the privilege of leading teams in the US Navy, TDCJ-ID, as a firefighter and in his businesses.

Blair is particularly interested in workforce development, education, and community development in Amarillo communities. He is tearing down barriers and encouraging community engagement. ​

Blair is married, a veteran, a firefighter, enjoys helping others, loves to travel and eating at his favorite local restaurants.
