Returning to Judson’s Live, Blair Crimmins & The Hookers bring their hot ragtime jazz with a touch of rock and roll to audiences all over the world with a revelry that’s both modern and rooted in the past. Blair Crimmins, a talented multi-instrumentalist who’s equally adept at playing guitar, banjo and piano, writes songs and arrangements for a classic Dixieland-style horn section featuring trumpet, clarinet and trombone. He’s headlined tours and festivals across the U.S. and Italy, opened for Preservation Hall Jazz Band and Old Crow Medicine Show. His debut release, The Musical Stylings Of became a college radio sensation on WRAS Atlanta, becoming the most requested band on the air.
His acclaimed albums feature original ragtime music in You Gotta Sell Something (2017), a children’s album All Aboard (2019) and swinging covers of his favorite artists from Louis Armstrong to David Bowie in Okay Boom! (2021).
