Blades & Babes February Book Club

Everyone is welcome, whether you’re a long-time fantasy reader or brand new to romantasy.

Attendees will need to source their own copy of the book ahead of time. Our current read is From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout — a swoony, high-stakes romantasy full of secrets, slow-burn tension, political intrigue, and ancient gods.

Expect a relaxed, friendly discussion about characters, tropes, favourite moments, and all the feelings. Drinks will be available to purchase at Catherine’s Place on the night.

Catherine’s Place aims to be a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone. The venue has an accessibility ramp, a wheelchair-accessible toilet, and gender-neutral toilets. The space is also designed to be neurodiverse-friendly, with soft lighting and thoughtful consideration for sound sensitivity (including a hidden coffee machine to help keep noise levels comfortable).
