Join us for a great night of live music with Blackwood Station!Blackwood Station is a musical ensemble from Richmond, VA exploring the boundaries of folk, psychedelia, and rock n roll. Ian Blackwood formed the band in late 2021 to bring studio life to the songs he had been composing which soon grew into a group with its own identity as an experimental roots rock outfit determined to explore a broad scope of sounds from across the tradition of American music.
Their self-titled debut album, a nod to folk-rock singer songwriters of the 70s, was released November 2023. Their second release, a psychedelic rock journey inspired by the whimsy of 60s psychedelia, is due out in 2024.
