For nearly two decades, guitarist, songwriter and producer Warren Mendonsa’s solo project Blackstratblues has been shaping the sound of independent music in India. Its predominantly instrumental music brings together blues, rock and ’70s psychedelia with electronic influences adding another layer to Mendonsa’s genre- defying compositions.

At the heart of this performance is Artificial Integrity, Mendonsa’s 2026 release. Exploring the tensions and contradictions of the contemporary social landscape, the album takes on a larger dimension on stage through expansive production and immersive visuals, offering a glimpse into the artist’s inner world. Alongside the new material, the performance revisits Blackstratblues’ favourites from a celebrated catalogue spanning multiple albums, leaving room for spontaneous interplay and new interpretations. Mendonsa is joined by Nathan Thomas on bass, Jai Row Kavi on drums and Beven Fonseca on keys.
