A little background about Asher:
He currently works as the maintenance manager at Ahavah Farm. But at the age of 11, Asher became the youngest registered and legal blacksmith in the entire United States! He developed the passion after attending a fair in Denver in 2013. Fascinated by it, he studied it on his own by visiting the library, reading, and watching many hours of YouTube videos. After a bit of tinkering in the backyard, he and his father found a local blacksmith who offered lessons. After taking the beginner's class he was hooked and, despite the high costs, took many more classes. After taking the test a couple of times, he passed and received a diploma and notation of becoming the youngest journeyman blacksmith in the country. Today Asher has a full workshop with tools, anvils, a forge, all housed in a shop he built from scratch.
