In this beginner-friendly workshop, students work with Foundry artists to cast their own bottle openers in aluminum! Students will learn about the innerworkings of two-part mold making from working with irregular 3-dimensional objects, and the details of mold “plumbing,” to the importance of understanding metal flow when casting.
