Fantastic International youth football tournament (May)Looking for an exciting international competition at a top tourist location? Then you must go to Spring Bank in Blackpool. The first edition of the Blackpool May Day Cup, in 2019, offered a fine mix of nationalities, with teams from all over the UK and Ireland, and a number of countries from the continent. What more could a football fan possibly ask for? The competition takes place at the UcLan Sports Arena - a top sports location of no less than 64 acres with countless sports facilities, including beautiful, sleek football pitches. And the other attractions in Blackpool are the sweet icing on the cake!
Sport facilities:
Venue 1 - The Uclan Sports Arena (Home to Preston North end Youth Academy) has 10 pitches, changing rooms, and a restaurant: ‘the Final Whistle’ with plenty of snack options. (Older Age Groups) U13+ Play at this venue.
Venue 2 - The Blackpool Cup will be played at the brand-new state-of-the-art sports complex at the Airport Enterprise Zone (Younger Age Groups play at this venue U7-U12)
Both locations easily meet the high standards of an international competition.
