So it's Blackley Rangers RUFC Ranger of the week again and to truly appreciate it those who see this in local groups need to look at the original post and the videos of some of the parents who willing got involved on Thursday evening.
First up we have an open Day this Wednesday 27th August between 10pm and 2pm. In the pictures you will see Naimh who went to Broughton Parks open day this week and met the Samoan ladies Rugby team !!! I wonder who is free this Wednesday?
Now the Rangers .
1st up from our under 6s we have Reggie and his Grandad. Reggie did superb this week , listened closely to his coaches and then put it all into practice. He also beat Grandad in the agility race. Well done Reggie.
Next up We have Georgia . Old picture I know but apparently her hair was up to standard Thursday night. Her passing, catching, listening, helping others definitely were up to more than Standard as she was amazing from both Coach Pep X BabyGinty Joyce and Vikki.
From our under 9s we have Malachi. Now this group are just learning about tackling and are really having to pay attention to get it right. They learn how to fall, correct body positioning for tackling but most of all they still have fun doing it. Malachi really got into it this week and showed how much attention he had been paying. Well done Malachi.
Last from our Older group we have Oliver. He's already an established tackler but needed to work on his passing and catching. He's been doing his homework and was amazing on Thursday. Passing at just the right time , always looking to catch the ball with his hands ready and he didn't drop the ball once. Well done Oliver.
Last and by no means least we have a Dad Lee. The under 6s challenged the parents to an agility race and to make it fair , parents had to complete the course as an Animal. Lee got a " Snake "" . He was belly on thr floor all the time and he's now auditioning for the role of Hissing Sid in Robin Hood !! Well done Lee !!
Snacks afterwards as always courtesy of Ryder & Dutton Estate Agents with water from LWC Drinks . Both of whom a really into supporting us as a grass roots club.
Come and see us Wednesday between 10 and 2 on the Running track area at Boggart Hole Clough. We will have water and some snacks for the kids and yes - Its Free ! Doesn't matter if it's raining - we will be there!!
