Blackheath High School is a central London school for girls aged 3-18, situated on the edge of Royal Greenwich Park with a beautiful village feel, a stone's throw from Canary Wharf and the City.

We warmly welcome you to our 'School in Action' open morning at Blackheath High Junior School and Nursery on Thursday 7 October 2026.

This is the perfect opportunity for you to see the school on a normal teaching day, taking a tour with one of our friendly pupils to get a real sense of what makes it the perfect place for your daughter as she begins her educational journey.

What to expect:

• Guided tours: Our friendly pupils will lead you through our classrooms and facilities, where you can see our lessons in action, meet specialist teachers and witness our exceptional teaching and ambitious curriculum
• Explore: our Forest School and purpose-built nursery playground, designed to spark your daughter’s imagination and help her to develop crucial motor skills, curiosity, resilience, and an adventurous spirit.
• Head’s Talk: hear from our Junior Head Ms Comerford about what sets Blackheath High apart as a truly inspiring and supportive environment for girls to thrive
• Meet the team: Chat with members of our Senior Leadership and Admissions teams, who will be happy to answer any questions you may have

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

By train:The nearest railway station is Blackheath, which is served by trains from Lewisham, Dartford, London Bridge and Victoria.

By bus: Bus routes 54, 89, 108, 202, 380 all stop near the Junior School.

By car: Public car parks are located at Blackheath Station and Blackheath Grove. There is no parking available on site.
