BlackFest 2026 presents a special visual arts workshop with multidisciplinary artist Ayobami at Granby Winter Garden.
Join Ayobami as she shares her artistic practice and explores her distinctive approach to colour, abstraction and expressive mark-making.
Ayobami is a multidisciplinary artist specialising in floral artwork and expressive abstract pieces. Drawn to both vivid colours and darker tones, her work combines abstract acrylic blends with expressive ink hatching to create dynamic and visually engaging compositions.
This workshop offers participants an opportunity to explore Ayobami’s creative practice, discover different approaches to colour and mark-making, and engage with the expressive possibilities of visual art.
