Blacked Out & Bold

Step into a night of creativity and self-expression at our Blackout Poetry Night.

Using book pages, newspapers, and magazines, we’ll create powerful poems by blacking out words and letting new meaning emerge. No writing experience needed—just your imagination.

This event is about slowing down, reflecting, and discovering hidden poetry within everyday text. It’s also a space to connect with community, enjoy a creative outlet, and take home your one-of-a-kind art piece.

To close the night, we’ll host an open mic session where you can share your blackout poem—or any words you’d like—with the group in a supportive and uplifting space.
