Presented by AAMBC Black Writers Weekend is our annual three day festival starting Thu Jul 31 ending Sat Aug 2. celebrating Black writers and their incredible work! Get ready to explore our vendor market pitch your books or film scripts connect with other writers and authors partake in panel discussions attend workshops and more. Don't miss this event that amplifies and supports our community. Summers in Atlanta are LIT est. 2008. The 2025 Festival will feature all three BIG events in one weekend: Cre8tiveCon Lit Crawl and the AAMBC Literary Awards. It will also feature social gatherings live artists' conversations a mass book signing with dozens of writers masterclasses a pitch fest VIP lounges and activations and a street festival featuring vendors music food and more.
