About this Event

On the occasion of Shanequa Gay’s public art project on the Atlanta Beltline, this symposium, in partnership with the Spelman College Museum of Fine Art, brings together artists, scholars, community leaders, and cultural practitioners to consider Black women’s traditions of stewardship as vital frameworks for understanding public memory, civic imagination, and the future of Atlanta.
