Check out this 3.5-mile out-and-back trail near Granada Hills, California. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 23 min to complete. This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and horseback riding, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash. This is a beautiful stroll along the stream at the bottom of Aliso Canyon. The trail crosses the stream in several places, but it's usually shallow, and there are rocks to walk on. The first part of the tail is nice and shaded before opening up to full sun as you walk right down the middle of Aliso Canyon Park. Along this popular route, there are many wildflowers and wildlife.

HOW TO PREPARE

• Wear long pants (There may be some overgrown areas).

• Wear hiking shoes/boots or sneakers with good grip are recommended.

• Bring a hiking stick if you have it.

• Bring water and snacks if you are prone to get hungry.

• Lastly, always have an ID on you.

All are welcome and we welcome all hiking levels however, please note this is a moderate hike. If you are a slow pacer, please consider bringing a partner along so that you are not alone at any given time. We will take breaks along the way as needed and remember to stay hydrated! Please note we looked out for our fellow sisters if they needed assistance with getting up or down a hill. We would like to keep this tradition of looking out for each other.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you are registering for one of our group events, we ask that you are 100% committed to attending when you register. If you reserve a spot and are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as possible on Eventbrite. We ask that you try to cancel a minimum of 3 days before the day of the event, as this allows other people who would like to attend the ability to plan to join us.
