Self-EmBODYment: A Movement Journal for Black Liberation - Step into your power and let your body lead the way. This movement-centered workshop invites Black women to reconnect with their inner strength, release tension, and celebrate the freedom of self-expression through dance. Using the body as a tool for healing and empowerment, we’ll explore the transformative power of movement to reclaim space, embody joy, and tell our unique stories.
Through guided movement exercises, free-form dance, and reflective stillness, we’ll create a space where every step becomes an affirmation and every sway a declaration of self-love. This workshop blends modern, Afrocentric, and improvisational dance styles with mindfulness practices to cultivate awareness, grounding, and liberation. - Angel Adams, Liberated Grounds
