About this Event
It is time to circulate our dollars to create a boost in our community.
This year's Black Wallstreet 314 Festival in celebrating the 100 year anniversary of "The Black Wallstreet"in Tulsa Oklahoma. "The Black Wallstreet"was situated in the Greenwood neighborhood, during the early 20th century where African Americans had created a self-sufficient prosperous business district. Then, the Tulsa Race Riot of 1921happened, and many homes and businesses were destroyed.
Just like "The Black Wallstreet" in Tulsa Oklahoma the Wellston Loop and Wellston Shopping District used to be a self-sufficient prosperous business and transportation district. With your participation, #BlackWallStreet314 will help boost the local economy by circulating our dollars, to provide educational support services to youth and improve the quality of life for the neighborhood inhabitants.
