They have toured extensively nationwide and internationally, including performances across North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. Blending rich vocal traditions in multiple southern African languages with the exhilarating athleticism of gumboot dancing, a striking percussive dance born in the mines of South Africa, Black Umfolosi International delivers a performance that is as joyful as it is deeply cultural.
