Sci-Fi club for kids ages 10-17 with a focus on Afrofuturism.About this Event
All kids ages 10-17 are welcome to join our Black to the Future Sci-Fi club in our children's department. We will meet weekly on Wednesdays at 6pm to discuss books, comics, cosplay and more with a focus on Afrofuturism, which is a movement in literature, music, art, etc., featuring futuristic or science fiction themes which incorporate elements of Black history and culture.
Kids will learn about this and more in our weekly club.
