About this Event

BSAFE (Black Secure Attachment for Empowerment) is a workshop series that walks Black caregivers through building or repairing secure, healthy relationships with their children, stage by stage, from before birth through the launch into adulthood.

Early and Middle Childhood

This is the season where our children are watching us to learn who they are and how the world works. This workshop walks alongside caregivers through the early and middle childhood years, centering healthy connection as the foundation for guiding our children well, and sharing practices we can carry forward and sometimes choose to do differently from how we were raised. Useful whether your child is approaching this stage, in the middle of it, or has already grown beyond it.

  • 5:30 pm Dinner and Networking and 6 pm - 8 pm Workshop
  • Child care will be provided
