Remembering BLACK SABBATH
Thursday 4/24/25
On Thursday, April 24, we're going to do a Black Sabbath Appreciation Night at the Montrose Saloon, and we're looking for participants.
Doesn't have to be full-band, but it can be. Maybe you do a spoken word version of Iron Man. Maybe you have a tear-jerking version of War Pigs that you do on your ukulele. Whatever, man - if Sabbath has inspired you in any way, come share it with the world!
My group (The Means of Production) will play Master of Reality in its entirety.
If any of you want be part of this night, please let Mike Coy know asap and we'll find a way to structure the bill that makes sense.
If the Means are the only full band on the bill, I would suggest structuring the night sort of like this:
1. Solo / Duets / Interpretive Dance for a couple hours
2. Means of Production does Master of Reality (plus maybe a few others - see below)
3. Players crowd the stage for all-star versions of Paranoid and whatever other huge hits haven't been done yet.
If anyone would like to sing either of the songs listed below with the Means, we can do them after the Master of Reality set. We have them worked up, but they're crazy challenging to sing, and not on Master of Reality.

If anyone wants to play specific instruments on specific songs, holla. Maybe we can piece some jams together.
