Black Parent Café: Youth & Teen Summit
Black Parent Café: Youth & Teen Summit will be a healing-centered space inspired by the real conversations, culture, and energy of BET's Teen Summit. Rooted in the Parent Café model, this gathering brings together Black parents, caregivers, teens, educators, community leaders, and organizations to explore the real issues impacting our youth while also celebrating joy, creativity, leadership, rest, and community power. Through authentic dialogue and connection, we will focus on strengthening protective factors that support healthy families and thriving young people, including resilience, social connection, emotional wellness, and community care.
Join us for an afternoon of community, conversation, and collective wisdom created by and for Black parents and caregivers in Grand Rapids. We encourage you to bring your teens!
