Black Maternal Mental Health Week Community Event & Huggies Diaper Giveaway

Join 4Kira4Moms as we kick off Black Maternal Mental Health Week in Las Vegas with an evening of connection, education, and community support.

Due to the extreme summer heat forecast in Las Vegas, our outdoor Black Maternal Mental Health Week Block Party has been canceled to prioritize the health and safety of our families, volunteers, and community partners. In its place, we are excited to welcome you to our Black Maternal Mental Health Week Community Event & Huggies Diaper Giveaway.

Together, we'll raise awareness about Black maternal mental health, celebrate Black birthing joy, and commemorate the 10-year anniversary of 4Kira4Moms while providing essential resources to local families.

5:00–6:30 PM – Welcome Reception & Panel
6:30–8:00 PM – Community Diaper & Mothers Care Kit Giveaway

• Attend the Welcome Reception & Panel and engage in meaningful conversations about Black maternal mental health.
• Register as a Community-Based Organization (CBO) to connect families with valuable programs, services, and resources.
• Volunteer to help distribute diapers and mothers care kits to families.
• Register as a Diaper Recipient to receive free diapers and mothers care kits while supplies last.

Founded by the Shades of Blue Project, Black Maternal Mental Health Week is observed annually July 19–25. The campaign raises awareness about maternal mental health, reduces stigma, addresses inequities in care, and connects families with vital resources and support.

Black mothers continue to face disproportionate barriers to quality maternal health and mental health care. Through education, community partnerships, and direct resource distribution, 4Kira4Moms is committed to ensuring families have the support they need before, during, and after pregnancy.

We look forward to bringing our mission to Las Vegas as we celebrate 10 years of advocacy, education, and action while uplifting Black mothers, babies, and families.
