The project began in 2018 when composer David Ibbett and astrophysicist Anna Barnacka set out to create a new kind of storytelling—one that could connect audiences to the universe through both music and science. Their vision soon expanded through a collaboration with James Monroe and the animation team at the Museum of Science, Boston, along with scientists from the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian and the Black Hole Initiative.
