Join Carlos from Urbanwise on a walk to discover more about the important historical events and sites that have shaped black history and black lives in the local area. During this walk along Portobello and Golborne roads, we’ll tell the story of this area’s rich black history, including the arrival of the Windrush, the origins of the carnival and the wonderful musical heritage.
The walk will end at the Tabernacle.
