Join us for a civil rights scavenger hunt - an engaging opportunity to celebrate and honor Black History Month!About this Event
Join us for an uplifting booktalk and panel discussion with some of the most inspirational women in our community. Panelists and attendees are invited to bring 1-2 books written by female authors that have impacted or inspired them. This event is not only for readers and audiobook listeners, but also those that have wanted to read but just haven’t had the chance (or time) to.
- The Franklin Library Supervisor, Nikki Hayter, will facilitate a booktalk showcasing the library’s Women’s History Month collection
- Panelists will share their favorite books during a moderated panel
- Attendees will break into small groups and share their books while responding to pre-selected questions
- Lastly, we’ll come back together, share highlights, and debrief – all while being cozy and sipping tea!
Panelists will be announced soon.
